Silicon valley. The windows of five buses were shattered on 280 between woodside and highway 85. The attack happened during the morning and evening commutes. Four of those buses were carrying apple employees, the other one google workers. Chp officers have not confirmed exactly what hit these bus, but they do have some suspicions. Could have been a rock. Could have been what somebody reported as a maybe like a bb or a pellet gun. Again, its not something that actually went into the bus. We know it wasnt like a high powered rifle or anything like that. You see so many of these buses going from San Francisco to the silicon valley. The kids rarely left the house and the parents called their home the sand castle day school. State records do show the school had an enrollment of six students last year, most likely their own kids. Private schools are subject to annual examinations by fire officials, but its unknown if this home was checked. A brutal attack in San Francisco. Investigators believe a woman was killed by her own son. Sfpd says this maam, Islam Mustafa stabbed his mother to death on randolph street in the ocean view neighborhood last friday. Investigators say this Alameda County sheriffs Deputy Joseph bailey is accused of starting a jail fight in order to get revenge on an inmate. Were live outside the jail where the incident took place. This is the mug shot of the deputy accused of starting that fight, which were told was back in october. Hes 28yearold Deputy Joseph bailey. He was arrested today. Weve learned from the Sheriffs Office that five or six inmates ganged up on one inmate and beat him up after bailey allegedly either set up that assault or allowed it to happen. The deputies say it happened back in october, and baileys colleagues reported him to a supervisor after investigating the fight. The Sheriffs Office believes bailey got involved in the jail fight to get back at the victim inmate who allegedly got into an argument with him earlier. When they began to do the investigation into the actual assault, thats when our staff uncovered that it was possible or it looked like maybe the deputy had a part in the assault, that he may have facilitated or allowed it to happen. And the inmate did receive moderate injuries. He got lacerations and severe bruising and maybe i think a fractured nose. Joseph bailey is facing two felony charges. Were told the Alameda County sheriff put him on paid leave as both the criminal case and the administrative case unfold. Now, when Joseph Bailey was arrested, he was not booked into this jail. Police and the University Investigating the alleged incident at the sigma xi Fraternity House. Students were drugged by someone who wasnt a stanford student. They were members of the fraternity and the sorority and the rowing team. They reported symptoms that are reported about tranquilizers that are used as date rape drugs. If its true, its obviously terrible, especially with the past, like the history of the whole brock turner case and everything. It really would show that not that much has changed, i guess, on campus. The landlord of that Fraternity House tells us alcohol will be permanently banned in the common areas beginning this spring. The search for a suspected bee killer on the monterey coast. Someone destroyed more than 100 bee hives. It happened over the weekend. The honey bees were on a mans property when someone sprayed gasoline on the hives in the middle of the night killing more than 200,000 bees. The hives are being housed in Central Valley by a man who was using the honey to support his family. And i want to give you this birds eye view because we still have a lot happening as we head throughout the next several days. We have the chance here thursday into friday. It still looks like sunday into monday more wet weather and maybe another chance as we head into next wednesday. Now, all of this storm activity out here is helping to kick up the waves throughout the pacific. And it is making it dangerous. Beginning to see those waves increase right now. We can see current reports are showing 7 to 11foot waves. That will be good for mavericks maybe happening at killer point over the next couple of days, but very dangerous to even your most experienced swimmer. Please be careful. But for northwestfacing beaches like near pillar point, we could see 40foot breakers. As we mentioned, those waves linked to the storm system that will also bring us some wet weather. There will be the chance of the best early on rain here in the north bay and the immediate coastline at 5 30 and even into 9 00 tomorrow morning from the north bay down to San Francisco for that chance of rainfall coming our way.
