First it appears hes backing away from supporting a bipartisan fix for obamacare. Yesterday the president appeared to offer support for a bill that coauthored by democrat patty murray and republican senator lamar alexander. It would reinstate critical subsidies for Insurance Companies participating in the insurance exchanges. Today mr. Trump appeared to pull his support. If somebody can happen thats fine. I wont do anything to enrich the Insurance Companies. President trump is denying reports that he made an insensitive comment while speaking to the widow of fallen soldier. Sergeant la David Johnson is one of four american servicemen killed in niger. The widow and a democratic congresswoman said they heard him say the soldier knew what he was getting into. He says hes a progressive, part of the resistance and pointing to her as being part of the old guard. Youve touched on a lot. The first is he needs the job. Hes going to be unemployed next year. Termed out. The second is what you talked about. Style. Hes a rabblerouser. Hes a progressive. Not afraid to get into a fight. Finestein has been there for a long time. Shes a moderate. Shes rather work for collaborations than confrontation. The third thing is theres vast differences whether its age, race. Whether its where they come from. You name it. Life in San Francisco. You have de leon, from sfrcentr ameri america. His mother is an immigrant. You have the makings of it. Were talking name recognition and a lot of money to back up the campaign.
