Reporter doyle drive is part of the 1. 1 billion project to transform the bridge approach into the presidio parkway, a smoother transition between the city and parkland. Despite the delays crews did so safely. I will say with all the congestion and the people we got through the weekend without a single accident or any incident. So that is an amazing feat. A witness says about nine police cars and a Police Helicopter began to surface the meadows expressway about 9 00 p. M. Tonight. Police stopped people from going through that park and were told theyre looking for as many as nine people possibly including gang members. There has been at least one arrest. San jose police have no further information. Flames ripped through a san jose neighborhood engulfing three homes and scorching two others about 4 00 in south san jose. Her family got out safely, so did her neighbors, including one woman in a wheelchair. We just evacuated everyone. We have People Living with us and told everyone to get out. We got the animals hideoutout and they started to hose the house. Reporter and multiple firefighters fighting the fire. The embers ignited the grass over highway 101. Because of the reports there was evidence that said there was a fence on fire. Dont know exactly what would have caused that. American red cross volunteers are helping them find a place to stay tonight. They may not have the same roof over their heads but all the people and pets who live here are safe. Right now you can see crews are working to board up this home that was burned earlier today. And he is wanted for running the police down with his car, and Lafayette Police are looking for Alexander William anderson. He allegedly rammed the police car on thursday anderson is also wanted for a burglary in the east bay. Police warn people to stay away from him and call police if you spot him immediately. And 911 not working for thousands of people in the north bay. There is a problem with the system so right now the Napa County Sheriffs Office is warning people to call a different number.
