ASHEBORO, N.C. - Klaussner Home Furnishings, the eighth largest home furniture maker on the FDMC 300, announced it will discontinue its outdoor furniture products.
“With the demand COVID-19 has created, we have made the decision to exit the outdoor category and turn our attention to our core business,” said company CEO Terry McNew. “The demand for our domestic upholstery, case goods, and specialty bedding products continues to increase at unprecedented levels. Redeploying our assets from outdoor furniture to our core categories will help us support our valued retail partners.”
Klaussner at one point had more than 20 outdoor collections.
Klaussner is one of the largest furniture makers in the country. With 1,200 employees, the company operates showrooms in High Point, Las Vegas, and Chicago. Klaussner is number 30 on the FDMC 300.
