Kiwanis clothing drive to help veterans, military families (Goffkein - stock.adobe.com) The Los Rancheros Kiwanians would like locals to go through their closets and drawers over the coming week to see if they have clothing and shoes for donation. A drive-thru clothing drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 27 in the Westwood Club’s upper parking lot, 17394 W. Bernardo Drive in Rancho Bernardo. The items will be given to homeless veterans, their families plus military families in need throughout North County. Many of the donations will be distributed next month during the annual North County Veterans Stand Down, set for April 15 to 18 in Vista.
