Punch Newspapers Sections Published 12:39 am The abductors of an Ekiti farmer, Mr Isaac Agbanigo, who was whisked away on Saturday at his farm along Ajegbende Ise Road, have set him free. The Ikere Ekiti-based farmer, who was released on Tuesday between Ise Kajola and Ijan Ekiti, was said to have been taken to hospital after spending three nights in the kidnappers’ den. Seven masked men had accosted Agbanigo, his wife and children in the farm, ordered them to lie facing the ground, led the wife and children to the road and took away the man. The farmers’ wife had raised suspicion over the land dispute between some family members and her husband, following which the police interrogated some persons.
