The stakes could not be higher, with a new poll just out tonight, showing this race is tied at 4949. The candidates will meet facetoface for the first time on this stage with no audience in the room, a very intimate setting. Theyve never met before. It will be trumps seventh president ial debate. It will be the first president ial debate for harris. The Vice President arriving here in philadelphia a short time ago after spending days in pittsburgh in debate frep. The alarming text authorities say he sent just before he allegedly hoped fire. Heres our chief Justice Correspondent Pierre thomas now. Reporter tonight, the urgent manhunt for a man suspected of being the sniper who fired at drivers along this busy stretch of highway in kentucky. The victims have been shot through the windshield. Reporter an Hour Southeast of lexington, schools in nine districts shut down, as Police Search for 32yearold joseph couch, thought to be hiding in this thick, dense forest. This is thousands and thousands of acres. Its kind of like a jungle. Reporter couch considered armed and dangerous, now facing charges of assault and attempted murder. According to an arrest warrant, minutes before the shootings, couch a former Army Reservist sent a text to woman saying he was going to kill a lot of people. Police say on saturday evening, couch was perched In The Woods Firing 20 to 30 shots, hitting 12 vehicles. Five people wounded by gunfire. No fatalities, but at least one person shot in the face and another in the arm. Police say this is couchs vehicle recovered near the attack. And they say they found an Ar15style Assault Rifle close by in the woods. Police say couch purchased that Assault Rifle the same day as the attack, along with more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition.
