Reporter tonight, Washington States top Prosecutor Charging three Tacoma Police officers with the killing of a Black Man. The evidence suggests for little to no reason. Manuel ellis was beaten and tased while his hands and feet were shackled. I cant breathe, sir. I cant breathe. Reporter there you hear ellis complaining to the officers that he was having difficulty breathing. The autopsy states he died from a lack of oxygen due to physical restraint. Justice has already walked out those doors the moment Manuels Soul left his body. According to authorities, police jumped out of their vehicle and attacked ellis after a brief conversation with him. There were no Police Body cameras, and its unclear why the officers got into the confrontation. They initially claimed that ellis was trying to open car doors. No proof of that, according to his family attorney. And prosecutors identified a number of witnesses who recorded what they saw on their smartphones and a doorbell camera. Prosecutors claim the witnesses said ellis was not fighting back. All three civilian witnesses at the Intersection State that they never saw Ellis Strike at the officers. Two of the officers now charged with Seconddegree Murder and a third charged with manslaughter. David, tonight warrants have been issued for the arrest of all three officers accused of killing ellis.
