When the confusion is over, we learn the suspect is only 13 years old. His name is adam toledo. The officer has said the boy had a gun in his hand. You can see a handgun a few feet away from the young man along this fence. But at the critical moment in some of the videos when the shot was fired, its hard to see any gun in the boys hands. An investigation is ongoing to determine what happened. Today Chicagos Mayor said its all too much a boy out in the city in the wee hours with an adult. A handgun in the mix.
