While some including the president continue to spew baseless claims of fraud, claims for which his team has not produced one iota of evidence we have seen in philadelphia democracy, pure and simple. Reporter in pennsylvania biden had been behind in the vote count until he emerged as the leading candidate. In georgia, state officials are disputing claims by trump that their ballot counting operations are biased. The election apparatus in georgia is run by democrats. The big question is when with will we know. In georgia the race is going to a recount. In nevada, we wont know new numbers until today. Counting continues in arizona, new numbers wont drop until this morning and in pennsylvania they are sorting through provisional ballots. Those numbers have been coming in more steadily. For now, we still will have to wait and see. Right on the heels of election night, at least six people with ties to the president , including his chief of staff, have tested positive for covid19. Mark meadows was in close proximity to the first family and several Trump Campaign officials in the past few days. And this is video of him at trump headquarters on tuesday. We have 260,000 registered voters, 60,000 of those are registered as republican. Of Solano County is a stronghold with a Strong Military presence. Reporter using three ten sided dice this team is randomly picking precincts to include in a manual tally, one of a number of ways San Mateo County elections ensures accuracy of the vote. And we get to 1 of the total votes cast, those ballots and those batches that contain those ballots will then be pulled and they will be manually reviewed by the human eye. Just picking the precincts took at least two hours with a team of four on hand. Observers were welcome. Yoyo choi is a candidate for city council in millbrae. He wanted to see the process himself because hes only ahead by four votes. Its not lost on him this race mirrors the one acros counts. Reporter every worker goes through a rigorous background check. The technology is a closed system. Every single ballot is verified manually, and theres more. In our operation here we have a twoperson integrity process. In the east bay police and protesters clash in brentwood, a second nice of tension after a resident hung an effigy from his roof using a noose. The Johns HopkinsUniversity Covid tracker shows nearly 122,000 cases in the united states, thats a record for new cases in a single day. And worldwide the number of cases is at more than 49 million. Europe has been hit particularly hard with italy ordering a new lockdown, and france reporting a Record Number of cases. And with cases on the rise, do we need a lockdown in the u. S. .
