Starting today restaurants can offer Indoor Service at 25 capacity or fewer than 100 people. That formula applies to movie theaters, Indoor Worship Services, gyms and fitness centers. All of them can have a few more people inside. The mayor of oakland gives the credit to residents for being diligent. All these indoor activities like climbing walls, bowling alleys, these are going to start to be allowed to reopen at 25 capacity and all that because you have done such a great job keeping that social distance, wearing the mask. Indoor stores and malls can even allow more people. They can increase capacity to 50 . The state cleared the county to make this move more than a week ago when it moved Alameda County into the orange tier, but the states color coded system allows for a county to move at its own pace and make the final decisions. A California Appeals Court ruled uber and lyft violated a state labor law, but the ruling wont have an immediate effect. The ruling says that the Ride Hailing Companies misclassified their drivers as contractors instead of employees and that goes against Assembly Bill 5 which grants fair wages and benefits to workers classified as employees.
