Very important but, lisa, very different carnival than what youd usually expect. Yeah, and hats off to the firefighters for getting the fires pretty much under control in this time period when they knew we were going into a time where the heat would come back, the winds would not be in our favor. So, boy, all the work that has been done amazing. As we get into the next couple of days you hunker down and have a plan to stay cool because if you look at doppler 7, this High Pressure builds in. This is going to be for the weekend. So thats another added concern onto the heat that arrives today. It is 57 in san mateo, 48 in half moon bay, though, so go outside now, enjoy it. 56 in napa. So feels pretty good out there. Its cooler in the north bay. Also along the coast, but inland already warming up. The winds i should say the atmosphere and upper elevations with somewhat of a north wind has warmed up. Concord and livermore 3 to 5 degrees warmer. Record temperatures, the spare the air alert and gusty winds with high fire danger coming into play next week. So one more look at the dangerous heat that is a warning from it National Weather service inland. Bullet right along the coast thats where we have the advisory. Still looking at very warm temperatures. Today right on through monday. So looking at that smoke forecast right now were in good shape. Once those winds begin to kick up and go offshore well see that smoke across the bay area. Were not alone, all of california, much of the west looking at this excessive heat warning from los angeles through san diego and into vegas and even in phoenix. Remember we need their power, right . So the possibility of some rolling black outs as well. So looking at the fog its not anywhere to be seen. Getting into your sunday it sets up a little bit offshore, but thats not going to help us out anyway. In fact, temperatures will build sunday into monday. Looking at the relative humidity right now throughout the afternoon i should say, were down to about 18 , lake berryessa, 25 in concord. The heat will dry out the brush. Be very careful out there. As we look into your saturday night the recovery not too impressive with 39 in petaluma. Looking at numbers on sunday, the pinks 110 antioch, concord, into monday very little change. Notice we have cooling at the coast, though, as we get into tuesday. Thats when the winds are going to be with us as well. Highs today ranging from the upper 70s in San Francisco, 72 in half moon bay, how about 93 in fremont. Upper 80s san mateo, upper 90s in napa, 104 in livermore, morgan hill 102. The accuweather seven day forecast beginning today, the extreme heat continues into your sunday and the risk of heat illnesses will continue as we get into labor day.
