The Santa Clara Fire Department is trying to figure out the cause of a vegetation fire that spread to a nearby strip mall. The fire started around 11 30 last night on el camino real. They found flames burning the adult world store there and a gas meter was on fire. Crews were able to safely shut off the gas line and douse the flames.
