We have some shots to show you of pictures from a United Airlines flight and an american Airlines Flight that look very full. We also talk to a woman who was on a frontier Airlines Flight it was so full she was petrified. All passengers want to know why they werent given more space during a pandemic. Even if you have anybody who is in the middle seats, i think thats over capacity, right . Like if you have to be on this flight and youre touching the person next to you or if they can take off their mask off to eat and theyre breathing next to you. Who knows. The closer people are and the more people packed in, the more it is concerning. American Airlines Told us they will only use the middle seats when necessary. So, for example, they confirmed a pilot who was flying standby was in a middle seat on that flight and they say many families who are traveling together and sitting together. They said 73 of middle seats, though, on that flight were empty. Frontier also got back to us saying their flight in question was 66 full. Unit uniteds flight in question was 85 full. Some passengers said they kept their mask on the entire flight because they worried about the lack of social distancing. Amy hollyfield, abc7 news. Governor newsom set requirements for counties that want to reopen faster, including increased Testing Capacity and no covid19 deaths for two weeks. Some counties are aplplowing ah anyway. Dinein restaurants, hair and nail salons and shopping malls are all wanting customers. The Governors Office threatened to withhold funding to these counties. Everything that yuba and i a see no basis whatsoever to deprive them on federal funds that theyre entitled to just like every county in the state. Bar owners say peverage control officers have paid visit to open bars and restaurants threatening to revoke their liquor licenses. A rare illness possibly linked to covid19 is affecting more children and there have been at least three deaths in new york. Doctors are urging parents to look out for fever, rash and abdominal symptoms, signs of kawasaki disease. It is unclear how it is connected to covid19. A 6monthold girl was diagnosed with kawasaki and tested positive for covid19. It happened march 16th just before the shelterinplace order. And that girl has recovered. At the live desk here, im looking at the president of oaklandbased company clorox. She went on abc news this morning to talk about how they are doing everything they can to keep their products on store shelves but that you likely wont see their products fully restocked until the summer months. So, Linda Reynolds spoke exclusively with abc news and what she is saying here is that shoppers are increasingly frustrated as they scour the internet and stores for clorox wipes. They were not prepared for sky rocketing demand caused by the coronavirus. They are developing wipes to stores every day but demand for the disinfectant products have increased by more than 500 . We have seen so many people e buy wipes that havent baus them in the past. Everybody wants products on hand so they can disinfect and keep themselves safe. Clorox plants are running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The company ceo expects by the summer months things to be fully up and running and restocked and until then, touch and go. If that north bay coyote doesnt do it for you, how about this bobcat spotted near homes in fremont. Thats something. Reporter so much so that police are warning folks to keep their small pets inside. It looked like not a child. Its a grown up kind of bobcat. Reporter in recent weeks coyotes and bobcats are some of the many spotte here and there. In san bruno, two Mountain Lions were seen on a trail. In napa county wildlife camera caught three Mountain Lion kittens on video. Wildlife experts say theyre swamped with calls. Were not as overwhelming in the environment right now and humans have sort of taken a step back which has allowed animals to come forward. Reporter lila travis is the urban Wildlife Rescue in San Francisco. In april, the volunteer organization took in 500 calls. Three to four times what they normally do. Theres a lot of urban wildlife that depends on human garbage. The food that we leave behind and with us suddenly gone, that food source has also disappeared. We hope to learn more about the governors vision of the future for dinein restaurants and offices as he details part two of phase two of californias reopening and lifting of the restrictions across the state. We know so many restaurants have been struggling to stay afloat, even those that have been able to shift to delivery only during the crisis. Governor newsom teased that the future of restaurants what they could look like including waiters wearing gloves and more disposable menus and allow a percentage of Seating Capacity to create more spacing between tables. But what about face masks . There are still so many questions. We have a new checklist that goes through issues around hand washing, sanitation, how to address the needs of customers through pickups and how we can make the pickup and drop off process for deliveries as well as pickups for customers easier and safer. We hope to learn more about the checklist the governor mentioned tomorrow. A restaurant in burlingame already wots possible. Before the governor announces the guidelines tuesday. Installing glass barriers between tables and eight feet apart and opting for Paper Products and staggered times. Phil matier reports that most restaurant jobs have fully or partially banished and in San Francisco nearly 60,000 people who work in the industry may just be out of work. Work has also stopped for more than 16,000 hotel employees. Job losses in the arts and entertainment and retail and manufacturing, which includes tech jobs. They report that the fbi and the department of Homeland Security will issue a warning that chinas most skilled hackers and spies are seeking advantages in this epidemic. Maybe a couple hours this morning and temperatures only in the upper 50s to low 60s and in San Francisco, a couple hours also and then after 9 00, hour chances of getting wet increase as temperatures hang out in the low to possibly a mid 60 here and there. Comedian and actor Jerry Stiller has died. His son, ben stiller, said in a tweet that his father died of natural causes. He also says, quote, that his father was a great dad and grandfather and the most dedicated husband. He will be greatly missed. The veteran comedian began his career in the 50s as the partner of his wife. He had featured roles on seinfeld and king of queens and appeared in several hit films. Stiller and his wife shared a star on the hollywood walk of fame in 2007. He was 92 years old. Back to you guys. A 26yearold surfer killed saturday in a rare shark attack off the Santa Cruz County coast is being remembered as an entrepreneur who turned his love for big waves into a career. Ben kelly died five miles west of watsonville. He was a Small Business owner who handcrafted surf boards out of his house. Friends say kelly had a lifelong love for the sport and the ocean. This guy had so much knowledge of the ocean. He has been surfing for his entire life. He understood the area and traveling all over the world. He is one of those guys that he understood the risks.
