francisco will be off limits to cars to create safe spaces for more exercise, and starting this morning at 6:00, john f. kennedy will be closed to cars, and cars will be banned on the entire shelly loop. and they are trying to allow more states to socially distance outside. in the south bay a effort to build a better bay area are trying to keep more from having to live on the streets and it everybody. we are starting off definitely milder this morning. that's going to help us reach temperatures that will be their warmest this week this afternoon. let's start up in the north bay. we have clear conditions for now. temperatures 61 in vallejo. calistoga right now around 51 and you can see mid to upper 50s just about everywhere else. with the fog around half moon bay and towards daly city, it's about 51 degrees. here's a look at emeryville. isolated fog mainly along the coast, and a little trying to develop along the peninsula but it will be more of a coastal issue this morning. it will be breezy north of the baseball through the delta in the afternoon and evening hours. let's look at the east bay valleys where we are already 80 by noon, and mid to upper 80s for several hours this afternoon. some areas could hit 90 this afternoon. south bay, total sunshine and 70s by noon and will hangout in the low 80s this afternoon. for the peninsula, 57 at 7:00 to 80 at 3:00. let's get a check of the morning commute with jobina. good morning. >> good morning, mike. thank you very much. hello, everyone. still looking at traffic right now we will start off with a live look showing our 880 this morning, and so far so good for the most part. the biggest thing we have going on is just around the bay area right now is the road construction, so i want everybody to be aware of that. there we go. northbound here. you are looking at live construction under way for a stretch of highway 101 and al mainy boulevard. they are replacing the overpass here and this map gives you an idea of where the construction activity is happening, and 101 ♪ ♪ ♪ tso is this. and so are these. they all represent something more. the feeling of home. that's why we're here. to help make your home be warm away from the coast where we stay near 60, and 75 to around 80 for the inland neighborhoods, and 13 hours of sunshine. 100 in the high desert through thursday and low to mid-90s in the central us. let's look at what is going on weather-wise. hi, everybody, mother nature serving up warm temperatures today away from the coast. san jose, we will see a few clouds increase over the next couple of hours, and right now clear and 56. the clouds will be short lived. we have sunshine and the warmest temperatures this week ahead of us this afternoon. more fog and marine layer clouds. we still have that slight chance of sprinkles on sunday. 82 in sunnyvale, and in the peninsula we start in the low 70s and end up in the mid-70s around san mateo, and millbrae, how about upper 60s along the coast. we will hang around 70 in san francisco. south san francisco and sausalito about 72. 80 in san rafael, and that's one of the cool spots as you head north. look at those 80s. for today in napa. mid-70s to low 80s along the east bay shoreline. as you head into the east bay valleys, the 90 catches your eye in fairfield, and 91 in fairfield. tonight very comfortable. great sleeping weather but notice more cloud cover out there. high pressure over top of us right now and that's why it's warmest today. the marine layer returns and we are about ten degrees cooler tomorrow. we will hold steady for thursday and then cool just a little bit more saturday and sunday. looks like a quiet forecast other than the warmth today and the chance of a sprinkle on sunday. abc7 is honoring the class of
