Joy returned from texas for a business meeting on the 11th. Two days later, believe it or not, friday the 13th, she started feeling sick. I was really sick. Was it a sickness that felt different than illnesses youve had in the past . Yes. Or not really . Yes, i will tell you it did, because i felt very tired. I mean i was sleeping 13 hours a night. And then during the day, i would sleep for five hours. When she was awake, joy was incredibly hungry. And equally determined to get well. While she felt horrible, she never had to be admitted to the hospital with the severe symptoms that so many coronavirus patients have faced. When you found out it was in fact, coronavirus, covid19, you werent scared particularly . No, i just wasnt, because i honestly, at that point, which was now 22 days ago, it was all just kind of getting going, and so i just, i didnt want to know a lot. Which sounds funny, but yet, it kept me, you know, from not being frightened. Calm. Calm. Yeah. My goal was to get better. And thankfully, she did. Here she is taking a socially distanced walk. Grateful and feeling better by the day. In san ramon. Dan ashley, abc 7 news. Glad to hear shes recovered. Drew tuma has been checking the Weather Forecast for us. Close to an inch of rain. That is almost a months worth of april rainfall in the south bay in two days. San anselmo,. 90. Hayward, close to an inch. Oakland and San Francisco, about twothirds to half of an inch. Live doppler 7 along with the satellite showing you the front, it has now pushed through, that brought the rain earlier today, but you look off the coast, and you can see that koi clockwise circulation, that will move onshore and bring us the next chance of showers. And well also see, likely a dusting of snow on our highest peaks, like Mount Hamilton. Weve seen these types of storms before this season. Future weather 7 00 a. M. Tomorrow morning a lot of cloud cover, most cities are dry. But that changes as we head into the afternoon, and by about noon, you can see the showers moving into the south bay, again, there is that chance around Mount Hamilton of a dusting of snow, and as the day wears on, the showers kind of rotate north, so in the north bay, we would expect that rain to last probably about to 4 00, 5 00 in the evening before the system pushes out here monday night.
