But Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell has rejected that request saying it was the job of the house to investigate. Mcconnell wants a Speedy Senate trial and says he will coordinate with the white house stirring anger among democrats who claim mcconnell needs to be impartial because the senate acts as the jury in this process. And senate Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell is expected to meet with Senate Minority leader schumer today to figure out the terms of that senate trial. It is expected to begin on the week of january 6th but again thats if House Speaker nancy pelosi decides to move the process forward. A federal Appeals Court has ruled the laws individual mandate requiring all americans to have Health Insurance is unconstitutional. Now, despite the ruling the Affordable Care act will stay in place for now because the Appeals Court did not address whether this law can legally exist without the mandate. The court has asked a texas judge who first ruled on the matter to be more specific. The issue is eventually expected to reach the supreme court. A developing story from texas overnight where a shooting outside a busy mall in san antonio left four people wounded. Police say a group of men jumped out of a car and started firing their guns. People in the area were sent scrambling to take cover. Inside the mall theres people hiding in gamestop. I got one witness in my car. I also got some shell casings right out here. I need another car to try to block off. Im gonna have my witness in the car but i have some shell casings. One victim is in critical condition. Police are now searching for five suspects. There is no word on a motive for the shooting. And in oregon a 20yearold man is in custody after a stabbing spree in a portland suburb. Police say it started as a robbery attempt at a wells fargo bank. Two women were stabbed in the bank. One was killed. Police say the suspect then stabbed two more people before stealing a car to escape. He now faces murder and other charges. Now to new details about the massive highway pileup in central pennsylvania. Look at this video. At least two people were killed. Dozens injured on this stretch of interstate 80. Look at all of that. Snow squalls created whiteout conditions blinding drivers. 20 tractor trailers and 10 other vehicles ended up crashing. More than 40 people were sent to local hospitals. This morning, an investigation is under way in california where police say a teenager somehow hopped an airports barbed wire fence and stole a plane. We had an aircraft hit the building over there. Reporter Surveillance Video shows the Million Dollar aircraft pulling a uturn at Fresno Yosemite International airport before crashing into a fence and building. Police say the 17yearold girl managed to start one engine and get the plane moving despite not even knowing how to drive a car. The aircraft never became airborne, and there was no fire. Reporter but the crash did cause substantial damage to the plane and maintenance building. The aircraft began to move and pivot and crashed into a building and a fence on airport property. Reporter Authorities Say the teen found by police sitting in the pilots seat and wearing the pilots headset seemed disoriented and had resisted arrest. The fresno International Airport is currently working with the faa, the fbi and other authorities to investigate this incident. Reporter a motive is unclear but terrorism is not suspected. Authorities say the plane never took off and no commercial flights were ever in danger. The big question now is how did she know how to start the plane . A former American Airlines mechanic at miami airport has pleaded guilty to sabotage and admits to tamering with the key system on a plane scheduled to fly from miami to the bahamas. The planes takeoff was aborted moments before departure. He told investigators he wanted to sabotage the plane so he could get overtime for making repairs.
