Two chp officers have minor injuries after their cruiser crashed in the south bay. It happened just after 12 30 on southbound 280 in san jose. The chp says the officers were trying to pull a car over when they lost control of the cruiser and then rolled over. You can see the trunk of that chp car damaged, the rear windshield is knocked out. Right nou its not clear how and why the officers lost control. In the east bay the chp is investigating a solo car crash that left a woman dead. This happened on westbound 24 near Saint Stephens drive. Investigators say the honda civic hit a tree on the right shoulder. When the officers got there, the car was fully engulfed in flames.
