In San Francisco a man was pulled out of the water not far from the bay bridge. Abc7 news was along the embarcadero as crews tried to rescue the person. A witness reported seeing a man in the bay. This was right around 12 15 this afternoon. The San FranciscoFire Department says it does not know why the man was in the water. He was rushed to the hospital last check was in critical condition. A shell gas station in the east bay is promising to pay for repairs after cars were damaged by bad gasoline. Several pumps were closed on saturday at the station on the corner of newark boulevard and jarvis avenue in newark. Multiple drivers said their vehicles broke down just minutes after pumping gas and taking off. Shell said anybody who purchased the contaminated gas can call the number listed on your screen there. For refunds on repairs, shell station is back up and running. Meantime, the dmv is back up this afternoon after a Network Issue caused part of the system to crash. Drivers licenses and i. D. Theyre calling friends and family members to take a shower at their homes, but no savings means no back up plan. This is the gonzalezs new home, their van. This is where you sleep now. Yeah. Reporter parked right outside the house where they lived for a total of three days, 11yearold elizabeth remembers waking up to someone at the door telling her mom, nthey had to move out. When that landlord knocked on your door saying you guys needed to leave, what did you think . That we were going to be living in the streets. And scared. Reporter that landlord she describes is the legitimate landlord for the property. Victor gonzalez had already paid someone else to move in and to change the locks. He asked for the first month, for the last month, and deposit, at least like 10,000. Reporter south San FranciscoPolice Confirmed the gonzalezes were duped. They found a cloned ad online that solicited that property that was for rent. It was legitimately for rent from a real estate company. However, somebody was falsely representing themselves as the property owner. Reporter we found the same property, a legitimate posting on zillow and showed it to victor gonzalez. This was his reaction. Are these the same pictures . Yeah, yeah, its the same. Didnt change anything. Reporter the pictures are the same, but the price, over a thousand dollars more compared to the facebook market post where they initially saw the property. For how much . 3,500. Reporter so this one is posted for on zillow for 3,995. Yeah. Reporter now, on that same date the gonzalezes were evicted, south San Francisco police got together and collected money for them to stay at a hotel for two nights. They were able to do so.
