cancellation of a speech at cal. this had a different appearance and feel. what do you think has changed over the past couple years? >> well, it is hard to say. i would have to say that maybe momentum. remember, almost two years ago, august 2017, you had the incident in charlottesville. remember that? one person killed, 19 injured, when the car plowed into the crowd. i think about a week or so after that, patriot prayer. they announced they were coming to san francisco. so a lot of people were on edge. very afraid, concerned about what could happen here in san francisco. of course, nothing did happen. this time it was different. the protesters had asked for a permit. nobody really knew what was going to happen. but there was again, i think, at this time, it was peaceful, two hours. and then they were gone. i would have to say momentum. >> at least it ended peacefully which is the most important thing. thank you. >> authorities say a woman posing as a fake nanny has a criminal history targeting parents, dating pack to the late 1970s. she is now in jail and is expect to appear on new charges next week. melanie is live in the newsroom. >> she is being held at the martinez detention facility. she turned down my request to speak with her today. authorities say she's been speaking with plenty of nannies and unsuspecting families. they're hoping reports like this will encourage more families victimized by her to contact police. the alleged fake nanny had nothing to say after being arrested in kensington. she's accused of scamming real nannies. >> i wouldn't want her in my house watching my children. >> here she is in 2004. a family looking the hire mo monticalvo did some digging and discovered she had posed as another nanny. they get all the real nanny's information. the information she would give those families was real. verifiable, on trust line. those that have cleared criminal background checks in california. >> the way the system works is, it is over the phone. you just provide the full name and driver's license number of your would be childcare provider. they'll say yes or no. unfortunately, there is no photograph system at this time but hope any that will change. >> we reached out to trust line for comment but we have not heard back. mont cavallo is expected to appear in court next week on charges of identity theft and cruelty to a picked her up from the detention center yet. emeryville police say they believe she was acting alone but that could change. >> two women are safe after investigators say a car that had been carjacked was most worried about was that the gas would be ignited. it was pouring out of there. >> this was a carjacking spree that went on during the course of about 30 minutes. one in san here andro, one in castro valley. >> the first car jagging happened in san leandro. the second in castro valley. in both cases, the victims were threatened at knife point. >> they tried to take her car. she initially resisted. she had a small daughter who came out. heard the disturbance. at some point they focused on her daughter and she gave up the keys to the car. >> they found one suspect when he crashed at castro valley and grove way. they found the one who had landed in the women's home, later on foot. >> he had glass and debris and some injuries on him consistent with being involved in a car accident. >> officers have arrested two teenagers. they have not released any descriptions because they are juveniles. abc7 news. a senior citizen who was walking across the street was hit by another senior citizen who was driving. this happened between harbor boulevard and fifth avenue. she was outside the crosswalk when she was hit. the driver is cumming with police. the deadline has come and gone for clearing out of a homeless camp. it is known as the ross camp. they packed their belongings. in february, the fire chief said the camp was dangerous and needed to be closed. people were given until 10:00 a.m. to get out. police went tent to tent to those still there and gave them hotel vouchers. >> a solano family of seven said their scared to send their kids to school because of a racist threatening letter. >> the letter said they need to leave their vacaville home. >> every time i hear ding, oh, he's there, he's. there maybe it's you. maybe it was you. it's very unsettling. >> an tomorrow. light showers, possible sunday night. that's our rain event or our main event that overnight, look for mainly clear skies. out over the bay, perhaps even some patchy fog inland. highs of 61. we'll see mainly upper 60s along the bayshore line. farther south, 76 in the north bay. 76 at santa rosea. over in the inland east bay, mainly upper 70s. we have an increase in clouds. it will get easy and cooler tomorrow. we'll have more clouds moving in sunday. through the day it looks like it will be mainly dry. in the early to mid evening hours, we may see some showers develop right around the central part of the bay area across the tip of the peninsula and to parts of the east bay. then it will move out of here leaving lingering clouds on monday. our projections for rainfall totals shows most of the north bay and a good portion of the east bay will be dry. we may see up to .500 of an ink in san mateo and hayward. on we go to the high temperature trend for the week ahead using napa as our indicator. the temperatures will be around average. that means mid 70s. dropping to the upper 60s over sunday and monday. and then bouncing back to average on tuesday before. rising above average mid-week next week. that's pretty much the pattern we'll all see in terms of temperatures related to the average range. here we go, over the weekend. an increase of clouds. turning cooler. awareness month. it has been 70 years to bring awareness to mental health issues. joining me, dr. ian tom. thank you for coming in. >> thank you for having me. >> so i think almost every family is affected by mental ilness in some way or another. and we're talking about one in five adults. 20% are trying to keep with everyday stresses. that's high. >> it does seem high. i think it is higher than one in five. those are the cases we know that but there are millions of americans out there who have never seen a medical professional who is able to diagnose them. they may be living, suffering without a diagnosis and don't know what is impacting their performance or mood. >> what is your best advice for people trying to navigate through this. and come one a balance between mind and body. >> i think access to care is a major issue of this is one of the reasons why we founded doctor on demand. the whole thing was to find access to high quality care but at a low cost. they can download an app similar to ours. they're able to access health care from home. but the important thing of that balance is really understanding that, i have troe mind patients. you'll laugh at this. their head and their brain is attached to the rest of the body. the brain and the mental health and is not different than physical health. it is all integrated. >> sometimes with the decision making, i'm messing around. it's true. you have to take care of the whole body. along those hines, the importance of sleep, i think, gets overlooked. members as well. you can get out of whack if you're not sleeping enough. >> sleep is not the only thing. i would say sleep. a palled diet. and making sure you get enough exercise. there is a lot of things that, and a lot of ways that our mental health does impact our physical health. it's funny that you mentioned, sometimes you feel like they are disconnect. that's a good sign that there may be something off. >> sure. >> it seems like there is still such a great stigma over mental health issues. people don't want to talk about it torsion wait in line and guest the referral. we talked about 70 years of mental health awareness. that's a relatively long time but there is still, i don't want to talk about that. >> absolutely. that's why i'm so thankful to raise awareness. it has been stigmatized for far too long. every one of us knows someone suffering. one in five americans annually will have a mental health condition and i would estimate 40 to 60% of americans will have a lifetime prevalence of some sort ofmen illness in their life. we need to address and it talk about it and start opening up more opportunities for people to express their feelings. >> burger king is talking about real meals. does that help in the discussion? or is it like, come on, guys. >> i have to take one step back and say we are talking about fast food. as a physician who is board certified, i have to to say something about that. what i like is that it is opening up a discussion. a child can say to a parent, i don't have words to this but give never not so happy, that's fine. tell me about your feelings. it has the opportunity to reduce the stigma. >> numbers that they do not recognize. and you should double-check phone bill statements regularly for any weird or suspicious activity. general motors is recalling heavy duty trucks because of an increased risk of fire. that according to consumer reports. the auto maker is recalling almost 325,000 trucks that have a faulty engine block heater cord with a potential to fail and cause a first. recalled models include 2017 to 2019 chevrolet silverados, gnc sierras, and 2019 chevrolet silverados. general motors says they will contact owners and fix issue free of charge. if you think $4 a
