morning and hope you are having a great start to your day. we will start out this half hour with a look at weather with lisa argen. we have a lot going on. >> yes, a chilly start to is sunday. it is dry and sunny and the temperatures areal cooler than average. as we are looking outside to the sutra camera, you will see it is 45 and look at this picture that i wanted to show you. doesn't that look fake? well, it isn't, two to four feet in the mountains, and cold in the teens, and low 44 in santa rosa, and vacaville, and livermore. we enjoyed the rain, and after the rain, this is a chilly start roads sink, and it was feeling like just like an island. >> reporter: and amazingly, they all walked away uninjured. and this man was in his office when the shaking started. >> i complain about the elevators because they rattle and bang, but then they really rattled and banged. >> you remember the first day on the job, but the last day on the job, i will remember that as well. >> reporter: the dropped the 25. they have managed to locate more than 3,000 people originally missing are reported in the aftermath of the disaster, a nd the sheriff says no human remains are located yesterday e despite the ongoing effort to search through the rubble. the death toll stands at 88, and more than a dozen victims have been identified. the tickets for a concert to help the people from the butte fire will be held at noon, and the concert will run from 1:00 to 10:00 tonight. and all of the proceeds to the victims. and dozens of soldiers are back in the bay area after helping out with the cam people on mars. david louie reports from valley that the u.s. has the technology advantage. >> reporter: this week, a lockheed martin lander touched ground on mars this week. nasa hopes lit deliver payloads to the moon. and lockheed space systems is one of the nine companies selected to deliver the landers. >> one thing that you absolutely don't need is a big aeroshield like we had when we went private industry. humans will follow destine odd for the moon and mars. james is a researcher with nasa >> you are only three days away from the moon, so if something goes wrong, you can bring folks back, but it is a much different journey to mars where you have to make sure that your systems will operate. >> reporter: it takes seven months to get to mars. japan and the eope m to mars. over 50 in all, and only the u.s. has landed successfully eight times. to put in perspective, the last time we had a human on the moon was 1972, but we may have somebody back on the moon by the late '20s. david
