Their car had been broken into and they called the police nonenergy line. They said you need to go to a police station. Reporter they also called Central Station the following day. They said that they didnt have the manpower at this time to investigate. Reporter so i emailed the deputy chief and he thanked me for bringing it to his attention and the situation quickly changed. Within three hours we had our stuff back, or some of it back. Reporter officers drove their now recovered passports, luggage and clothing to their hotel, all the way in monterey.
