The fcc is slamming the government and hawaii about a missile attack over the weekend, calling the incident absolutely unacceptable. The agency says hawaii did not have safeguards in place to prevent the transmission of a false alert. The employee who sent the warning out to millions of people has now been reassigned. is set for tomorrow to provide help to neighbors left homeless by the mudslides in montecito. Thousands attended a vigil last night in memory of those who died and those still missing. The death toll climbed to 20 yesterday after they found the body of a 30yearold man, his 6yearold son and his fatherinlaw died in the mudslide. The mans daughter is still missing. It may be weeks before a stretch of highway in montecito reopens. About 70,000 vehicles a day use that freeway. Crews in the north bay are making significant progress on cleanup and recovery following the october wildfires. State officials tell the press dat cleanup in coffey park is expected to wrap up in about two weeks. The rest of the area should be cleared in the next 18 months. The north bay wildfires killed 40 people. The flames destroyed more than 6,000 homes. Nonprofit dog rescue has to make repairs after a car crashed into the shelter in oakland. Abc 7 news was at rocket dog rescue on foothill boulevard where debris covered the ground from an

crash. Volunteers tell us that a car slammed into the facilitys fence around 3 00 a. M. Yesterday. The shelter houses about 30 dogs. Luckily, no dogs were hurt. Its tough because we use the space out here to kind of help with the dogs to play around and them to be able to get out of their kennels. This is the second time that this has happened. This happened in april of 2016 when a stolen van smashed through the fence. All right. Lets start with our temperatures compared to this time yesterday.
