Kenyan taxpayers to pay over KSh 1 billion for establishment of MPs' TV channel
- If the Parliamentary Service Commission will okay the establishment of the channel, the taxpayers will also part with KSh 300 million annually to run the station
- The station christened Bunge TV Channel will broadcast all the proceedings and events of the Senate and the National Assembly
- A total of 43 personnel will be hired to run the channel who include the production and the technical staff
Kenyan taxpayers will have to dig deeper in their pockets to raise KSh 1.1 billion for the establishment of a complete state of the art parliamentary broadcasting channel.
