Bradford Crown Court
A KEIGHLEY man who took a friend’s car and drove at up to 120mph on a Bradford motorway during a police chase has been jailed.
Andrew Duffy, 38, went out for drinks with a friend and then took his car, a silver Ford Mondeo.
Duffy then joined the eastbound M62 from junction 28 (Tingley Interchange) and drove at speeds of between 100mph and 120mph. He was spotted on the motorway by police officers, who used their car’s lights and sirens to indicate for him to stop, which Duffy ignored.
He was undertaking other motorway drivers who were forced to change lanes to avoid the speeding Duffy.
