The Pirates had not won a title since 1963 and did so by sweeping their opponents this weekend. Just talk about your team's effort in both these two games today. Couldn't be more proud of them all year. But especially this weekend, all the adversity, I mean the rain out there not knowing kids going out with cramps, guys stepping up, next guy kind of mentality. Just doing a page is doing it for their, for their families, for their, for their community just couldn't be more proud of him. So of course, with the venue changes and all the rain out. Just what is your message to the team to kind of keep them focused on. But that's the hand message was nothing changes but the address, you know, it's the same, what our approach is the same. We treat it just like a home game. We're gonna go in, go, go do our best to put our best effort on the field, let the rest take care of itself. It's uh, it's about tradition on some of Y'all shirts. Just talk about what this means. The first state championship requirements, 1963. That means it's all the people behind you. That's the tradition. And the people who follow this program, the people who support this program. I'm gonna tell you something. This state championship was not one this year, was not one. As with me, as the head coach of the state championship was won with those kids on ball fields when they were 678 years old. That's when the state championship was won. Hey, I get the trophy, I get to where it is, but it ain't mine. It's theirs and they are, our community earned it. Those parents earned it at the time. They put in within kids to make baseball priority. My job. Do not mess it up already, Coach, correct? I believe your family ties cafe something is left between Catholics herds migrate off. Okay. So, uh, it's a special moment. We haven't been to the state championship since 1957, years. We haven't won it in 58 years in the last time we wanted. Jimmy Hunter told the Bulk and got us to win.
