While the number of COVID-19 cases in Christian County has increased in July compared to June, the number of vaccinations has not. The health department reported 143 active cases in Christian County Thursday, with an increase of 78 cases from last week. 26 of the active cases involve people under 21 and 103 are between 22 and 59 years of age. None are over 85. Last week, the health department reported an increase of 28 cases. There have been 197 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Christian County in July compared to 59 new cases in June. However, the number of people vaccinated by the health department dropped in July from 563 in June to 446 this month.
