The victim uploaded his biodata on a website for employment and was scammed by an unknown person from Australia posing as Darrell Lea Confectionery Co. The scam involved sending fake offer letters and asking for payment for visa confirmation and other fees. The victim transferred Rs 36.34 lakh but did not receive the promised job or a refund.
