Published May 25, 2021, 6:00 AM Foreign businessmen have strongly urged Congress to pass at the earliest possible time the amendments of the Public Service Act (PSA), which seeks to open more economic activities in the country to higher foreign equity, as they vowed to promote to foreign investors in the Philippines once the critical economic reforms are passed. The Joint Foreign Chambers (JFC) of Commerce of the Philippines, which is composed of 14 foreign chambers, issued a statement as the following the Senate commenced the plenary debate on SB 2094 or the Amendments of the PSA. The House approved its version of the bill on March 10, 2020.
