The 2019 Ghana Football Association [GFA] presidential candidate following his unveiling as the Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of the Porcupine Warriors unequivocally reiterated that he will make sure the club play and win the Caf Champions League under his auspices. His pronouncement attracted a lot of criticisms in the media space. However, Kotoko’s ambitions of playing in the group phase of the 2020/21 Caf Champions League has been left in doubt after losing 1-0 to Al Hilal in the first leg of the preliminary round game staged at the Accra Sports Stadium.
