Janet Jackson's "Unbreakable" Wins Album Sales Race With 109

Update: An opening week total of 109,000 pure US sales earns Janet Jackson’s “Unbreakable” the #1 spot on this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales chart.
Its weekly sales victory was of the dominant variety; no other album sold more than 38,000 copies during the October 2-8 tracking week.
“Unbreakable” also tops the consumption-oriented Billboard 200. With Track Equivalent Albums (10 single sales = 1 album equivalent unit) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album equivalent unit) added to its sales total, “Unbreakable” posted a first-week consumption total of 116,000 units.
It becomes her seventh album to claim #1 on the BB200
