TEHRAN, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh said on Friday Iran's crude oil exports have seen a "sharp rise" in recent days, official news agency IRNA reported.
Talking on the sidelines of the inauguration in Tehran of the 25th Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, the Iranian minister also pointed out a steep increase in Iran's access to its own funds abroad during the same period.
Zanganeh further said the exhibition in itself shows the "failure" of sanctions against Iran, and added that Iran's oil industry is "alive."
The minister declined to offer any figures on the country's exports, arguing that "the economic war is not over yet."
