Premium Content Subscriber only Witnesses who were among the first on the scene on a crash at Avenell Heights on Tuesday morning have recounted the moment one of the drivers fled. Nearby residents Billi King and Holly Robson heard the loud crash when two cars collided near the intersection of Centennial Circuit and McCarthy Road just after 8am. When she arrived to help Billi King said the driver of one of the vehicles appeared "really shocked" and didn't seem to understand what was going on at first. Bundaberg police were called to a traffic incident near Centennial Cct this morning.
