((Twitter) Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will join Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland as she hits the virtual hustings to promote her long-awaited budget — the first, it’s worth noting, to be presented to MPs in more than two years, as well as the first to face an opposition-controlled House in more than a decade. As per his official itinerary, Trudeau and Freeland are set to team up with Social Development Minister Ahmed Hussen for a “virtual discussion” with parents that will focus on “experiences families have faced caring for children during the pandemic,” as well as “early learning and child care measures” outlined in Freeland’s proposed fiscal roadmap to post-COVID-19 recovery.
