Investing in Prevention: How a clinical strategy in Denver could improve health and address health equity July 14 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm In this web forum panel, key leaders in the field will highlight strategies in the health care setting that can improve population health and reduce disparities in obesity-related health behaviors and outcomes. These strategies can be feasibly implemented across cities, counties, and states in the United States. In addition, we’ll hear findings from a Childhood Obesity Intervention Cost-Effectiveness Study (CHOICES) Project partnership with Denver Public Health on how they used cost-effectiveness analysis as a decision-making tool to implement a clinical strategy in Denver Health clinics to promote healthy weight. We’ll also hear their perspectives and experiences that other health agencies can consider when prioritizing these kinds of efforts.
