The victim, identified only as a 34-year-old, was shot around 6:07 p.m. at the Express Inn on Route 38, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. He was taken to an area hospital. Details of his condition were not released. The shooting was the second violent crime to be reported in Cherry Hill in recent weeks. A Delaware man, 64-year-old Leopold McKoy, was shot to death April 4 at the Sergi Farms apartment complex on Abbey Road off Marlkress Road. A Cherry Hill resident, 26-year-old Tymere Brown, has been charged with murder and weapons offenses in that case.
