Inquest opened into death of elderly Romsey woman


AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of an 86-year-old Romsey woman.
Jean Hooley, of Wakeford Court, Cressey Road, was admitted to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, in Winchester, after paramedics were called to her home.
During the inquest opening at Winchester Coroner’s Court area coroner Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp said that paramedics due to a fusion which Mrs Hooley had been suffering with.
Mrs Hooley was admitted to hospital and died on September 7, last year.
A post mortem carried out by Dr Adnan Al-Badri gave a cause of death as digoxin toxicity, acute renal failure, congestive cardiac failure, left ventricular hypertrophy and old age.
