India's service sector activity eased in August, despite recording the strongest increase in new export businesses in nine years. However, positive sentiment towards the outlook reached its highest level since January, according to a private survey. The seasonally adjusted S&P Global India Services PMI Business Activity Index recorded an expansion in new business for the 25th consecutive month.
