In early June, The American Jewish Committee (AJC) hosted a virtual meeting along with three U.S. senators to officially launch the first-ever Senate Caucus on Black-Jewish Relations (SCBJR). Those senators were Cory Booker (D-NJ), Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and Tim Scott (R-SC). âReinvigorating the black-Jewish alliance was at the bedrock of the civil rights movement,â said moderator Manya Brachear Pashman to the guests. âItâs key to combating racism and anti-Semitism both here in America and around the world.
