As the reality of the Broadway shutdown set in, Seth Rudetsky figured he'd go online holding his phone up to the camera as Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara sang a few songs and they would attract some donations for The Actors Fund. Luckily, with some intervention from his husband, James Wesley, and a team of friends behind the scenes, the technology angle worked out a little better. But the spirit of using their talents to give back lives on. At a one-year anniversary this week, with hundreds of episodes of "Stars in the House" behind them, "some donations" has turned into more than $715,000 for the entertainment industry assistance organization. Plus they've raised more than $200,000 for other charities, including ones connected to the Black Lives Matter movement.
