Today the mill reached 1 year of recordable injury free operations which is a remarkable accomplishment not often achieved in the pulp and paper sector. This moment is particularly meaningful as it was achieved at the end of an 8-day scheduled maintenance outage which involved a significantly higher level of activity and risks at the site. Mill General Manager Marie Cyr says, “The entire management team is so excited to be celebrating this remarkable achievement with our employees. This is a collective effort, where each individual who works here has made a focused effort to keep themselves and their coworkers safe each day.”
