The successful moon landing of Chandrayaan-3, achieved on a budget of ₹615 crore, is set to become a case study for management students at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Professors and directors at IIMs believe that the mission, which exemplifies frugal innovation, can provide valuable lessons in strategy, collaboration, innovation, cost control, resource optimization, and how to process failure and move forward.
