Brandon Griggs has been going to Las Vegas since the 1980s in a variety of roles: as an unlucky gambler, as a working journalist, as a soon-to-be-wed bachelor and as just another tourist wearing an ugly shirt. He says that for better or worse, Vegas offers the promise of transformation.
