Staff have been left "shaken" after a man pounced on Uddingston's Main Street at around 5.40pm. He entered the town's McColl's shop before threatening workers and making-off with a three-figure sum of cash. The man is described as being around 6ft tall and of medium build. He had no weapon during the raid. He was wearing a black beanie hat, a face mask, a puffy black jacket and blue jeans. He spoke with a local accent. He was last seen heading north on Main Street. Detective constable Andrew Fearnside, of Lanarkshire CID, said: "Nobody was injured in this incident but the staff involved were shaken by their experience.
