Leadership with the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is looking to fill the positions of Medical Director and Associate Veterinarian. The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing and providing full-service medical and surgical care for both shelter and public animals that visit HSNEGA's Healthy Pet Clinic. This position also serves as the team leader for clinic-based medical and operational decisions, working with the Clinical Care Director and Executive Director. Candidates for the Medical Director role must possess a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and have a license in good standing with the state veterinary board or be able to obtain a Georgia license. Leadership with HSNEGA hope to have this position filled by April when the current Medical Director leaves, according to a press release from the shelter.
