JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Post 14 Eagles mounted a comeback during game one and relied on the left arm of Connor Hoyt in game two to sweep the Mandan Post 40 A’s 7-6 and 6-0. Three errors over the course of the first two innings defensively allowed Mandan to quickly jump ahead 5-0 going into the third inning. Jamestown got its first hit of the day in the bottom of the third when Gage Orr doubled into left center. After Orr was moved over to third and Isaac Mimong reached base on a fielder’s choice, Jacoby Nold delivered two RBIs on a single to put the Eagles on the scoreboard.
