It was a scene repeated dozens of times over the course of the blustery evening; shortstop Jacobi Dixson standing on first, taking a massive lead, and then accelerating like a rocket into second base before the throw could get in from the catcher. And then Dixson crouching at second, taking another huge lead, and then swiping third right after that. And finally, Dixson inevitably waltzing into home after a teammate made weak contact on an ensuing at bat.
