Howard County police officer rescues injured bald eagle

A Howard County police officer rescued an injured bald eagle on Monday.Officials said PFC Charles Toler used a sweatshirt and a cardboard box to corral the injured eagle from the park-and-ride on Route 32 in West Friendship.A group of volunteers from a raptor and owl rescue center received the bald eagle in hopes of nursing it back to health.
