How Churches are celebrating Christmas differently this year

Churchgoers in the South have instead found creative ways to bring the community together.
Outdoor, drive-in and digital services are allowing congregations to sing together and be COVID-safe.
St John’s Church, Locks Heath, is creating an Advent Trail during December.
Every day, a new Advent window will be created in a home in the local area. Families and others can walk around the neighbourhood to spot the themed windows.
A drive-in carol service is being organised at St Barnabas Church in the Swanmore village hall car park.
The service will take place on December 20 at 6pm, in partnership with Swanmore parish council and Swanmore methodist church.
