Horry County fire chief named SC's Chief of the Year | News

Joseph Tanner, fire chief at Horry County Fire and Rescue, has received the Fritz Turner Award from the South Carolina State Association of Fire Chiefs. Named after the first South Carolina fire marshal, it has been presented annually to the best fire chief in the state since 1981.
